 Reiki Training

Reiki is a delightfully simple form of hands-on healing. However, Reiki training not only enables us to treat ourselves and others, it is a catalyst on our journey towards self-fulfillment and self-knowledge, nurturing our intuition, expanding our life perspective and developing our wisdom.

Learning the art of Reiki takes us back to our natural state of being as healers. Reiki is open to all. Everyone can learn to practise Reiki, even children.

Incredibly gentle, incredibly powerful, Reiki is very empowering. It means there is always something we can do, for ourselves, the people around us, the animals we care for.

Immensely versatile, Reiki can be applied to all aspects of life, on a daily basis. Training at Level 2 brings with it knowledge of the symbols and the learning of how to use these to direct the energy without direct contact. Reiki bridges the gap of space and time.

The attunements which are part of Reiki training along with the Reiki energy within the practitioner tend to promote awareness and healthy living.

Reiki can also be used to clear your living or working space, and fill it with positive vibration, encouraging well-being.

I hope you will join us in the experience of Reiki and become part of the worldwide Reiki community.

For details of each level of training, please see the Workshop descriptions below.

I work in the fellowship of the Angels.

Workshops

First Degree Reiki - Sho Den

Learning will take place over 2 to 4 days, completing 10 to 12 hours of study depending on the size of the group.

You will learn about the history of Reiki, fundamental to understanding the ethos of Reiki, and introducing you to the importance of lineage. You will learn the principles developed by Dr Usui, as an aid to authentic living, and which are an integral part of the commitment to Reiki.

You will receive 4 attunements, which will raise your vibration and open you to becoming channels of Universal Life Energy.

You will learn the basic form, a series of hand positions on the body, for self-treatment and for treating others, and will have plenty of opportunity to practice.

It is recommended to allow a minimum period of 3 months between undertaking Reiki I and Reiki II, although this will depend upon the individual's experience and level of personal development. For some, less time may be permissable, for others it may be beneficial to allow a much longer period.

Second Degree Reiki - Oku Den

You will learn 3 symbols and their methods of use, both within a full body treatment and in the form of Distant Reiki.

You will learn about the Reiki Aspects and Elements.

You will receive one attunement.

We will discuss Distant Reiki Healing, sending Reiki to past situations, future events, and to aid us in our learning.

There will be much opportunity to practice Reiki in all its versatility.

Reiki II deepens the connection of the student with the Reiki energy, and takes them on a more involved journey with themselves. We will discuss how this may be experienced.

Reiki Master Training

I invite applications for Reiki Master Training.

The training takes the form of part taught classes, part apprenticeship. There will be one-to-one teaching and mentoring as well as attendance at Reiki I and Reiki II workshops. The student is also required to complete a set number of treatments alongside regular self-treatment and the practice of Distant Reiki.

Reiki Master students must have a mature understanding of the process of personal development and a clear commitment to Reiki.

Please see my Courses and Workshops page for details of up-and-coming classes. And please do contact me if you are interested in learning any stage as workshops are generally set up according to demand, which allows me to accomodate most people's availability.

I am also happy to hear from you if you are already a small group and would like me to teach you. This is particularly appropriate if you live outside of Bristol, as I am happy to teach in one of your homes. There is usually a minimum requirement for this of 4 people.
